Bespoke Software, Proven in the Field
Every tool below started as a problem in our own shade business: measuring windows faster, quoting jobs on-site, predicting sun glare before a client buys fabric. We built the software we needed, and now we build it for other businesses too. If your team has a workflow stuck in spreadsheets, phone calls, and guesswork, we can turn it into a tool.
The Toolbox
Live, in-browser tools we designed and built in-house. No installs, no logins.
Our most ambitious tool: drop a window onto a map, set its bearing, and watch the sun's path play out across any month of the year. It predicts exactly when direct glare will hit a window, models shadows, and helps clients pick the right fabric and automation schedule before a single shade is ordered. Solar geometry, mapping, and shade science in one page.
A guided measuring workflow for shade projects: organize by project and room, then capture width, height, sill height, mount depth, wire location, and compass bearing per window. Replaces a clipboard of scribbles with clean, structured data.
Built for dealers and integrators: spec out an install, get transparent labor pricing, and generate a shareable PDF estimate on the spot. Quoting infrastructure as a web page.
A Bloomberg-style market terminal in the browser: keyboard-driven command line, live panels, and a real backend. A demonstration of what "bespoke dashboard" can mean when it's done right.
Point your microphone at the room and get live decibel levels plus a scrolling FFT spectrogram, handy for AV calibration, motor noise checks, and demo rooms.
A clean forecast dashboard we use to plan outdoor installs and travel days. Simple, fast, and exactly the data we need, nothing else.
Apps in Development
A smart Android navigation app with voice commands, toll analysis, and intelligent routing. Decide. Drive. Arrive.
A decentralized, end-to-end encrypted messenger with peer-to-peer WebRTC and no central authority. Your conversations, nobody else's servers.
Turn a spare Android phone into a local-network security camera with AI motion detection and H.264 streaming. No cloud, no subscription.
GroundPost: Built for the Trades
GroundPost is our full-scale community platform: a message board built specifically for tradespeople. Electricians, HVAC techs, plumbers, low-voltage installers: each trade gets its own board to swap field knowledge, troubleshoot jobs, and talk shop. Threaded discussions, voting, image posts, and a fast dark-mode interface, running live in production. It's the clearest proof of what we mean by "bespoke software": we found a community without a home and built one.
